Itinerary

Armenia 🇦🇲 - Georgia 🇬🇪 - Azerbaijan 🇦🇿

Day 1Kuala Lumpur - Yerevan

Departure from Kuala Lumpur after midnight (02:25) to Yerevan, and arrival in the afternoon (11:50). Hotel check in and city walking tour. Walk from the Republic square to the Armenian Cascade passing through the iconic Opera house. Night in Yerevan

Day 2Visit Garni and Khor Virap

Day trip to visit Garni Gorge, Geghard Monastery and Khor Virap Monastery where Armenia as the first Christian nation was declared. From here we can see the beautiful unobstructed view of Mt Ararat in Turkiye.  Night in Yerevan

Day 3Visit Lake Sevan

Visit Lake Sevan and Sevanavank monastery in the morning. Lake Sevan is the largest body of water in Caucasus region (1/6 size of Armenia territory), and it play a very important role in Armenia economic growth. Free and easy in the evening. Night in Yerevan

Day 4Tbilisi city

Transfer to Tbilisi, Georgia via land border crossing. A 7 hours drive across the Lesser Caucasus mountains. Night in Tbilisi

Day 5Tbilisi - Kazbegi - Dariali pass

Tour to Kazbegi. Visit the famous Russia-Georgia Friendship monument, Ananuri castle, and Gergeti trinity church. We will drive to the Dariali pass, close to the Russian border. It is said that one of the theories of Alexander’s wall is along the mountains in Dariali Pass. Today, you will encounter your first experience with the beautiful Greater Caucasus mountain ranges. Night in Kazbegi

Day 6Kazbegi - Tbilisi

Wake up to the beautiful view of Mt Kazbeg, one of the main peaks along this Europe/Asia natural border. After breakfast, head back to Tbilisi, and visit Sno village on the way back. In Tbilisi, we will go to the Chronicles of Georgia overviewing the Tbilisi Sea. Night in Tbilisi

 

Day 7Tbilisi City

Explore Tbilisi old town and Narikala fortress. In the evening, enjoy traditional Georgian music and dance show (optional). Those who are interested, can indulge and pamper themselves in private traditional sulphur bath. Night in Tbilisi

Day 8Tbilisi - Mestia

Transfer to Mestia. Long journey ahead. Mestia is deep into the greater Caucasus mountain ranges and the view along the road will be magnificent. Home to a beautiful mountainous village of Svan’s people. Each home has their own Svan’s tower built to as their defense system against intruders during ancient time. Night in Mestia

Day 9Mestia - Ushghuli

Day trip to Ushghuli, the highest settlement in Europe. Explore the ancient svan towers. Tower of King Tamar, tower of love and view of three mountain tops.

Day 10Mestia - Batumi

Transfer to Batumi city, a port city by the Black Sea. Enjoy sunset cruise by the Black sea overviewing Batumi City. O/N Batumi

Day 11Batumi city

Visit Gonio fortress close to the Sarpi border of Turkiye. Explore Batumi city (sight seeing only): Europe square and old town where you can enjoy beautiful buildings with different architectural style such as Baroque, Italian, Georgian & Turkish. Night in Batumi

Day 12Batumi - Baku

Free and easy to explore Batumi Boulevard. The longest boulevard in the world

Economy flight to Baku. Night in Baku

Day 13Explore Baku city

Visit Atashgah Zoroastrian fire temple and Yanardag where you will see the burning of natural gas directly from the ground. Stop by the outside of Hayder Aliyev Center (sightseeing) and photo sesh near ‘I Love Baku’ signage. Night in Baku

Day 14Explore Baku City

Visit Qobustan rock art cultural landscape, mud volcano and Shirvanshah palace. Free time exploring Baku Old City at night. Night in Baku

Day 15Flight to Kuala Lumpur

Flight departure to Kuala Lumpur. End of trip

In this 15 days Trans-Caucasus Odyssey, we will be exploring 3 countries comprising of Armenia 🇦🇲 – Georgia 🇬🇪 – Azerbaijan 🇦🇿. In Armenia and Azerbaijan, mostly only focusing on their capital cities, Yerevan and Baku. Meanwhile in Georgia, we will be exploring much more extensively so that you will get to experience the mighty Greater Caucasus mountain ranges.

From Lesser Caucasus to the Greater Caucasus Mountain ranges, and from Black sea to the Caspian Sea.

These 3 countries have their own distinctive cultural traditions, language systems, and currencies. So get ready to indulge in this diverse and rich cultural history adventure in this Southern Caucasus region

Yes. We will gladly arrange for single room for your stay. But, if you prefer to have a room mate, we will match and assign another solo traveler of the same gender.

Armenia  is using their own local currency known as Armenian Dram (AMD)

Georgia is using their own local currency known as Georgian Lari (GEL)

Aerbaijan is using their own local currency known as Azerbaijan Manat (AZN)

Should I book pre/post tour accommodation?

In case your flight will be earlier than starting date or later than end date of the tour, you may consider to book pre/post tour accommodation.

What is cancellation policy?

Cancellation & Refunds
No refunds will be given if booking is cancelled less than 45 days from date of departure.
50% refunds from what remained will be given if booking is cancelled no less than 45 days from date of departure.
The deposit is non-refundable, but shall be contra as deposit for any other trip within the same year only.
