Itinerary

Day 1Kuala Lumpur - Bishkek

Arrival to Bishkek in the evening. Transfer to hotel. Dinner in local restaurant and overnight in hotel.

Day 2Bishkek - Kochkor

Leaving hotel in the morning. Sightseeing in Bishkek – visit of Central Ala Too Square, Oak Park and Osh bazaar. Lunch in the city and later transfer to Kochkor. On the way visit to Burana Tower – remains of ancient city from XI c. Upon arrival to Kochkor accommodation in the guesthouse. Visit to workshop where local women produce traditional Kyrgyz felt carpets – shyrdak and ala-giiz.

Day 3Koschkor - Son Kul - Kochkor

Today will be excursion to unique place – to Song-Kul Lake which is located on the altitude 3030 m. Local people call the pasture around the lake as nomad’s paradise. Hundreds of local shepherds stay during the summer in the area around Song-Kul Lake and using local traditional felt houses yurt to stay on the pasture. Upon arrival to Song-Kul you will have lunch in the yurt. After lunch walking or optionally horse riding.

Day 4Koschkor - Tamga

After breakfast transfer to the Issyk-Kul Lake. We will drive along the southern shore and will have several stops. Visit to the workshop in the village Kyzyl-Tuu, where we will have a presentation about the producing of wooden parts of the yurt. We will have stop to meet the eagle hunter, who will show us the hunting with the eagle. Drive to Skazka Canyon with its sandy mountains of different colors and take a walk of 1-2 hours. There are hills of different forms, if you look at them you can distinguish different animals, birds, temple that is why we call it fairy tale canyon.

Day 5Tamga - Jety oguz - Karakol

After breakfast one can enjoy the swimming in the lake, the yurt camp is situated on the shore of the lake. Later a visit of Jety-Oguz gorge.  Transfer to Karakol. A city tour with visiting
Russian Orthodox Church, Muslim Mosque in Dungan Style. After the museum visit to local bazaar.  Dinner in Uigur or Uzbek family where you can try traditional food.

Day 6Karakol - Chon kemin

After breakfast drive along the northern shore of Issyk-Kul Lake. Stop in the Open-Air Museum of Petroglyphs in Cholpon-Ata city. The Open-Air Museum, sometimes referred as a Stone Garden, covers some 42 hectares and contains a number of prehistoric monumental structures (stone circles, tombs, the remains of a boundary stone wall, balbals) and Petroglyphs (dating from the II millennium BC up to the Middle Ages up to the VI century AD).

Also, in Cholpon-Ata you can go for a motor boat excursion on the lake for 1 hour.

Day 7Chon kemin - Bishkek

After breakfast optionally we will be driven to the sport stadium where we can watch traditional horse game of Ulak Tartysh (a team riding horse game) in the stadium of Kalmak-Ashuu village. After the horse games transfer to Bishkek with lunch on the way. Upon arrival to Bishkek
free time for shopping.

Day 8Bishkek - Kuala Lumpur

Breakfast in the hotel. Drive to airport

Yes, You can make installment payment. You can make 10% deposit to secure your booking. We allow you to make another 4 installment for the remaining balance. As long as it fit the due date as follow:

60% payment completed 2 months prior departure date

100% payment completed 1 month prior departure date

I'm a solo traveller, is there a single supplement?

Yes. We will gladly arrange for single room for your stay. But, if you prefer to have a room mate, we will match and assign another solo traveler of the same gender.

Which currency is most widely accepted on this tour?

Kyrgyzstan is using their own local currency known as Kyrgyzstani Som (KGS)

Should I book pre/post tour accommodation?

In case your flight will be earlier than starting date or later than end date of the tour, you may consider to book pre/post tour accommodation.

What is cancellation policy?

Cancellation & Refunds
No refunds will be given if booking is cancelled less than 45 days from date of departure.
50% refunds from what remained will be given if booking is cancelled no less than 45 days from date of departure.
The 10% deposit is non-refundable, but shall be contra as deposit for any other trip within 365 calendar days.
