Itinerary

Armenia 🇦🇲 - Georgia 🇬🇪 - Azerbaijan 🇦🇿

Day 1Kuala Lumpur - Yerevan

Departure from Kuala Lumpur at 2am and arrival in Yerevan by noon. Stroll around the Armenian Cascade and Opera house

Day 2Visit Garni and Khor Virap

Visit to Garni Gorge and Khor Virap monastery with Ararat Mt as the background.

Day 3Visit Mt Aragat and Lake Sevan

Visit Mt Aragat and experience an physics defying phenomenon. Later, evening stroll at Lake Sevan.

Day 4Tbilisi city

Transfer to Tbilisi via land border. Merge with those who will arrive from Kuala Lumpur for Georgia only trip. Rest

Day 5Tbilisi - Kazbegi - Dariali pass

Day trip to Kazbegi, Stepantsminda area. Located 10 km away from the Russian federation border separated by the mighty Caucasus mountain ranges. Visit Annanuri castle, Gudauri along the way to Gergheti Mountain.

Day 6Tbilisi City

Georgian cultural day. Enjoy Georgian traditional music and dance shows. Explore Tbilisi old town, Cable car, Narikala fortress.

Day 7Tbilisi - Mestia

Transfer to Mestia. A beautiful mountainous village of Svan’s people. Each home has their own svan tower built to as their defense system against intruders during ancient time

Day 8Mestia - Ushghuli

Day trip to Ushghuli, the highest settlement in Europe. Explore the ancient svan towers. Tower of King Tamar, tower of love and view of three mountain tops.

Day 9Mestia - Batumi

Transfer from Mestia to Batumi. A city full of interestingly weird buildings. Dip your toe into the Black sea.

Day 10Batumi city

City tour around Batumi and indulge the famous Adjarian Kachapuri, one of many Georgian cuisine from its hometown. Visit Old town and Europe Square at the center. If time permit, let’s head to the Georgia – Turkiye, Sarpi border.

Day 11Batumi - Tbilisi

Transfer to Tbilisi . Last souvenirs shopping

Day 12Tbilisi - Baku

Train crossing to Baku, Azerbaijan. (If train still not operational, we will fly to Baku)

Day 13Explore Baku city

Explore Baku city: Maiden tower, Atashgah Zoroastrian fire temple, Heydar Aliyev center

Day 14Explore Baku City

Visit Shirvanshah palace & Qobustan by the Caspian sea

Day 15Flight to Kuala Lumpur

Flight departure to Kuala Lumpur. End of trip

In this 15 days Trans-Caucasus Odyssey, we will be exploring 3 countries comprising of Armenia 🇦🇲 – Georgia 🇬🇪 – Azerbaijan 🇦🇿. In Armenia and Azerbaijan, mostly only focusing on their capital cities, Yerevan and Baku. Meanwhile in Georgia, we will be exploring much more extensively so that you will get to experience the mighty Greater Caucasus mountain ranges.

From Lesser Caucasus to the Greater Caucasus Mountain ranges, and from Black sea to the Caspian Sea.

These 3 countries have their own distinctive cultural traditions, language systems, and currencies. So get ready to indulge in this diverse and rich cultural history adventure in this Southern Caucasus region

I'm a solo traveller, is there a single supplement?

Yes. We will gladly arrange for single room for your stay. But, if you prefer to have a room mate, we will match and assign another solo traveler of the same gender.

Which currency is most widely accepted on this tour?

Armenia  is using their own local currency known as Armenian Dram (AMD)

Georgia is using their own local currency known as Georgian Lari (GEL)

Aerbaijan is using their own local currency known as Azerbaijan Manat (AZN)

Should I book pre/post tour accommodation?

In case your flight will be earlier than starting date or later than end date of the tour, you may consider to book pre/post tour accommodation.

What is cancellation policy?

Cancellation & Refunds
No refunds will be given if booking is cancelled less than 45 days from date of departure.
50% refunds from what remained will be given if booking is cancelled no less than 45 days from date of departure.
The deposit is non-refundable, but shall be contra as deposit for any other trip within the same year only.
